Presented documents show: PROFAT 39.1 PCT Can we raise the discrepancy “Profat exceeding allowance specified in Field 47A? Thank you! DDD ——- ANSWER Hi, Profat, which means protein and fat, refers to the sum of the concentration of crude protein and crude fat in DDGS (Dried Distillers Grains with Solubles), which must normally equal or exceed the guaranteed level (e.g. 36%). So, it can be understood that the higher profat content is the better. When stipulating “PROFAT 36PCT MINIMUM and ALLOWANCE FOR PROFAT IS NOT MORE THAN 2 PCT”, the applicant appears to be willing to accept DDGS with profat content from 35.28 up. However, such a stipulation is not clear. Check the documents with common sense. I won’t cite this discrepancy. Kind regards, Mr. Old Man
