QUESTION
Hello again!
May I bother you again with a quick question?
The LC requires B/L to indicate the consignee and notify party including their email addresses, e.g., ABC(AT)STANDARD.COM while the presented BL indicates ABC@STANDARD.COM
Is this considered as a discrepancy?
Thank you for your continuous cooperation.

ANSWER
Hi,
As you may know, a number of characters are not allowed in one or more of the SWIFT character sets such as < (less than sign), $ (Dollar), % (percent sign), # (number sign), @ (commercial AT sign)…
Every email address contains this sign @, e.g., nguyen@mroldman.net and when you say email address, the sign @ is pronounced AT. To comply with Swift usage rules, when an LC issued in Swift MT 700 Format requires a document to indicate an email address, AT should be used to replace @, e.g., nguyen(AT)mroldman.net.
Conclusion:
The fact that the presented BL indicates email address as ABC@STANDARD.COM complies with the LC requirement. No discrepancy!
Best regards,
Mr. Old Man
