Every day, Mr. Old Man receives questions on International Trade Finance and Documentary Credits from readers around the world.

For more than 20 years, these questions have been one of the main reasons why www.mroldman.net has continued to grow into a valuable source of practical knowledge for trade finance professionals. Mr. Old Man has one simple principle: every question deserves an answer. Whenever possible, he replies within 24 hours of receiving a question. Over the years, he has never intentionally declined to answer a genuine question related to International Trade Finance or Documentary Credits.

There is, however, one small favor Mr. Old Man would like to ask.

To help Mr. Old Man give you the best possible answer, please take a few extra minutes to prepare your question before sending it. Write the complete question first, read it through once, and make sure all the relevant information is included. Then simply copy and paste it into:

Just spend a few extra minutes organizing your thoughts before hitting Send. That allows Mr. Old Man to spend more time thinking about the answer instead of trying to figure out what the question really is.
