It said: “If women ruled the world, there would be no wars. Just a bunch of jealous countries, not talking to each other.” Luckily, the author used the second conditional — a hypothetical situation contrary to the present reality. Mr. Old Man got curious and did a little research. He was quite surprised to learn that there are currently 28 countries with women serving as heads of state or government — and apparently, every one of them is an “Iron Lady.” Well… Mr. Old Man had better not name them all. Too dangerous!!!
