I created this website in 2018 based on my WordPress website of the same name www.nhducdng.wordpress.com created in 2010.

As of December 31, 2024,  www.mroldman.net   has a total of 1,450 posts, of which about 1,300 posts are articles and Q&A related to international payments and trade finance, the rest are articles related to the topic of cycling adventures.

Statistics on the website show that the number of visitors and visits is quite impressive for a website specializing in international payments and trade finance, specifically:

Today (as of 5:30 pm) there were 175 visitors with 575 visits

Yesterday 12/31/2024, there were 1,743 visitors with 5,479 visits

In the past 7 days, 4,349 visitors with 11,135 visits

In the past 30 days, 17,880 visitors with 41,685 visits

In the past 365 days, 327,285 visitors with 786,326 visits

Since the website was created, there have been 1,051,132 visitors with 3,071,644 visits including posts with more than 200,000 visits.

Since 90% of the posts on Mr. Old Man is in English, so the number of visitors to the website is mostly foreign readers and Vietnamese readers working in the field of import-export payments at banks and businesses.

Although it is a website about international payment and trade finance operations, the number of visitors and views is large as the statistics above. That shows that this website is to some extent quite useful for the community of people working in the field of international payments and trade finance, not only domestically but also internationally, especially for readers in countries where LC is the main payment method.

I will continue to maintain this website to share the knowledge and experience that I have accumulated in more than 30 years of working in international payments and trade finance at Vietcombank, a leading bank in Vietnam in this field.
