According to ISBP 745 A31 (b), copies of documents need not be signed or dated. So, copies of the invoice in question need not be signed. If the issuing bank intends to require all documents including copies to be manually signed, such requirement must be expressly stated in the LC as follows “All documents including copies must be manually signed” or similar wording.
